LC's Clothing Line

So, Lauren Conrad's new clothing line launched yesterday. I checked it out and I was flabbergasted. This was Lauren's, a stylish intern of TeenVOGUE, clothing line? Where is the style? There is nothing original, in fact it is all very plain and boring; at the most decent basics, but really nothing beyond that. Prices are moderate, more then the average teenager could afford but really these days what isn't? For all the hype and excitement regarding her new line, there should be more to it before it was launched. There are only 8 pieces available on the website [Shoplaurenconrad.com] and with nothing being amazing, I don't know how she expects to make a decent profit. I guess all her "fans" from MTV's The Hills and Laguna Beach will save her. Because I don't see anyone with a real eye for fashion going out of their way to buy anything.

The two thing I did like ...

I adore LC sense of style. She is a fashion goddess. Some designers it seems are too desperate for new ideas so they go over-board and make their clothes not "hot". But all of LC clothes are sexy and sophisticated at the same time.

During the markup to House Result 2267, the tabulation proposing online gambling regulation, contender Spencer Bachus over again referred to an article in the Orlando Patrol as heralding the incipient dangers of Internet gaming. Bachus said the notepaper bemoaned the induce Internet cafes posed to children, and argued this meant accepting online casinos means subjecting kids to risk.

Bachus repeated the citation a include of times during the process of the deliberation not later than the Legislature Monetary Services Panel, as if he had discovered a strict kernel of fact gaming proponents could not refute nor digest. But the Alabama Republican had either accidentally or deliberately muddied the dampen with misleading information.
