Ramblings 12/27/07

Sorry I haven't posted that much this week, I have been tres busy. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did, so let's be shallow and dish about what we got. Shall we?

I received this wonderful, "Find Another Love" cardigan, Joie. Gorgeous, no? Only mine is in cream and ten times better.

This lovely mug from Anthropologie, which I blogged about earlier this month. I guess now I've learned how to not-so-subtly drop hints.

I love this notebook, it is so incredibly unique and happy, also from Anthropologie.

This is a must read, I sped through it so fast. Simply amazing. Which reminds me, there is an excerpt from there I want to share with you. Hmm..

Trish McEvoy brushes, as well as a compact palette, I still need to go fill it. I also received her book on make-up techniques.

Enough, about Christmas presents, I'm sure aren't really interested in hearingreading about the rest of my gifts.

So did anyone hit the after-Christmas sales? I did! Yay! I went to Nordstrom Rack and Loehman's.

I didn't find anything at NR, although my sister found an amazing blue Marc Jacobs sweater, as well as an adorable black dress and cute gray tee. Can you say, borrowing?

I, however, hit the jackpot at Loehman's. I found an amazing deep purple silk Theory tank top.

I found this picture on Ebay (haha!) but it really does not do it justice at all. The original price was $180 but I got it for only $15.

I also scored a $2.50 C&C California bright purple tank top, it's from a few years ago I believe because the style is a little awkward. But I figured, it's two bucks, I'll wear it jogging. It seemed to be the night of the cheap purple tank tops.

Just a note: Loehman's was having a sale on fragrance (the nice stuff!) gift sets, 50% off already discounted prices. It might be something to check out. You can score Chloe perfume and lotion for $15, at least at the one near me.
