I've Always Read DIY as DUI

I've previously stated my love for all things shiny and sparkly, when done tastefully of course. So it comes to no surprise to anyone I know, that I'm utterly and completely in love with a gorgeous rhinestone headband from Nordstrom. Damn, Nordstrom for not putting it on their website; I unfortunately have no photo to accompany my post so I will have to use my *ahem* writing "talents" to describe to you in the best possible way I can manage. The headband was incredibly thin, just a few centimeters in width, encrusted with gorgeous rhinestones that are more likely then not, Swarvoski. It came in both gold and silver, and I admittedly liked the gold the best because it should bring out the blonde highlights in my brown hair but the silver was definitely more subtle and refined. I really was just browsing Nordstrom, without intent to purchase, but of course how can one walk into (one of) her favorite department store and not leave without something to show for it? Too bad, I didn't come out with the headband, it was $50 and I would require two because of the thinness and to be honest, I just like having two. But I figured I could find something similar for under $100 so I opted for Chanel eyeshadow instead. Unfortunately, my search for this headband that made my feel as giddy as a school girl, has seemed as successful as a wild goose hunt. My solution was a DIY, and this one I actually finished!

No pictures because to be honest I'm far too lazy right now, but it turned out fabulously. I've already gotten a few compliments on it. Might post pictures, might not; I currently don't know where my camera is. I lost it in the black hole of my car.
